Hi all,

Will a 3000VA 1800Watts UPS that usually has 4 12v9AH batteries be able to run a single 12v 100AH battery instead? (preferably lithium)

I know it won't fit in the existing unit, but will it actually charge the battery and function correctly?

This is the Takealot link for the unit in question -> Takealot - https://www.takealot.com/linkqnet-3000va-avr-line-interactive-ups-with-lcd/PLID69344346

I essentially want to extend the battery run time as this powers my PC during loadshedding/blackouts which lasts around 2-4 hours at a time.

Any advise/assistance will be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR
