Have you double checked the bag is seated right onto the spigot, and infact tried a different bag? The bags are pure cow dung in these!!

The old method are the best Mate, all this carp with chasing machines could have finished the bloody job before you have got you chasing machine and vacuum cleaner out of its nice new box. What person on their right mind will want all that crap in their living room, when a bit of care and consideration, and a lump hammer and bolster will do the job far better than some costly machine that makes more dust than a hurricane.
No offence meant to Pete, look at his age.. May be a hint.Wow!! You rarely work in occupied properties then! The chaser and Henry is hooked up in 3 minutes and a 4 metre chase cut neatly and squarely inside 5 minutes. No dust, I said NO DUST AT ALL! The client wouldn't even know we've been!
I attached the wall chaser to a canister vacuum cleaner and removeded the air filter and pipe the exhaust out through a window.Whats your preferred method and therefore tool of choice for chasing all types of hard walks (brick, block, stone etc)?
Is it the grinder and hammer drill method (if so do you use a purpose demo hammer drill or a standard SDS rotary with hammer function). battery or corded grinder?
Is it a wall chaser and hammer drill or demo drill.
Is it good old hammer and chisel.
Or any other methods?
So you cover the garden and the neighbours gardens with lots and lots of dust?I attached the wall chaser to a canister vacuum cleaner and removeded the air filter and pipe the exhaust out through a window.

Just need British Summer weather on your side , Trail an extension cable outside --wait for it to start raining !So you cover the garden and the neighbours gardens with lots and lots of dust?
Is that Vaccum any good ?
I have the next size up Titan 30Ltr job with the outlet on the top. I find that the dust tends to get sucked through the bag a clogs up the filter a bit.
I have to keep brushing the filter, happens on brand new bags too im thinking if taking it back, does yours do this ?
I think the main problem is that these things are not really suitable for the job in hand. They are basically glorified vacuum cleaners for sucking up dust. They're not designed to cope with the abrasive nature and volume of the dust being thrown at them in the wall chasing operation. Thanks Lee I'll take it back and exchange it then Ive only had it a few weeks, it has managed a full chase rewire and it sucks ok but its a bit annoying that the dust keeps sucking through the bag.

The whole setup is ÂŁ130 though! Tap it out by hand after or sds, i use the armeg box chaser on my sds for boxes
No. unless the brick is shyte.Does the armeg box cutter work on brick though?
it works on thermalite block, but so does a plastic spoon.Does the armeg box cutter work on brick though?
I'd just say that I'd use the builder2 pound hammer and a 4 inch bolster chisel
