Just taken delivery of the (finally published) CoP from the IET. I ordered it in September so it has been some time coming.
Nice bit of bedtime reading for me

Oooh, interesting. We're looking into that ourselves at the moment from a Type-B RCD protection point of view...any insight from your document?

They seem to be advocating RCD protection for the supply circuit and then a further RCD in the charging point. This one should be type A to cover potential DC faults from the vehicle.
The CoP book is £44 from the IET. Lots of pictures and diagrams. Worth purchasing if you are interested, even if only 84 pages long.
