I've it mentioned that some panels perform better for east west applications, but can't understand how this is possible or where I would find the information to make such a decision?

Is this salesman talk or do some panels genuinely perform better depending on orientation, if so where do you find out this?

Thanks, in advance

no one? Might sound like a daft question but i'm genuinely puzzled on these claims and want to be sure i'm not missing a trick?

Some have better low light performance. Panels facing east or west would get lower light levels on average than south facing panels, this might be where they are coming from.

Yeah possibly, I was thinking it would have more to do with reflection and refraction given the different angle. Is there any solid evidence to prove this is a factor, or just theory that in the winter months the sun is lower so the panels will have less direct sunlight on them.

In the summer I can't see it being as much of an issue as they will have a similar amount/intensity but at different times of the day?
