Hi guys,
I've had a look through the regs but can't see anything regarding this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be ok to replace an old fuse board with a new 17th edition split load board bringing the economy 7 supply and circuits into one side whilst bringing the standard supply into the other side, obviously removing the link cables from both sides so that they are electrically seperate.

I can't see any reason against this as long as all phase conductors of each supply enter through the same entry point to cater for preventing eddy currents.

Also what labels if any would be required if this is acceptable?

Stacker boards are used or can be used for this application and have 2 main isolation double pole switches for top and bottom rows/halfs.
A dual supply warning label would need to be attached tho don't get this forum started about the subject of labelling again. :)

I don't see a problem I have seen three tariff boards.

If my memory serves me correctly Wylex sell a variety of fuseboard so along these lines ....

Edit: a dual supply label is a must, a dual colour label not

Haha Point taken murdoch.
They do make these nice shiny new consumer units unsightly

My point is that its over 10 years since the colours changed. Anyone who was competent, or has been through formal training in the last 10 years WILL know the differences.

This is why the label, NOW, is unnecessary.

Maybe one day it will happen.
