Mem Eaton RCBO

got a MEM board with RCBO's to fit and as you do with a new supplier you never used before you have a feel and touch!! any way i noticed that MEM dont have them little earth fly leads on the RCBO like other makes!! any body know the reason or am i just been over curious!!

do they earth down to the rail that holds the breakers?

Noticed this the other day when I fitted some, maybe they have somehow combined the Earth and Neutral together, I was led to believe that they are used to test the RCBO on the 'test' button. Anybody else have any idea?

i was talking to a mem/eaton rep at a trade show recently. he said their new rcbo's do not need the fly earth lead as they serve no real purpose.

one less wire to worry about!! i quite like the MEM stuff... feels bit more rigis than Wylex and Volex..! may use it more often!!

just need to chop them bloody neutral fly leads to size now!!

I would say its better to have to cut the neutral leads down rather than through crimp to extend like on some of the hager rcbos I have fitted
