Hello,

I've never had this before so sorry for sounding silly...

I did a re-wire for a customer the other week, now they have decided they would like an outside socket.

Every things been tested, there's a spare way left on board so all I need to do is run a new circuit but what cert would I need to do for this? or would I need to re-test the whole board?

Thanks,
Carl

if it's a new circuit you need to fill out a EIC.for that 1 circuit. can you not add it to the scedule of test results. if you can come off an existing circuit, you only need a MWC.

That would be to easy hehe, I was going to do that but it's going to easier just do run new circuit because of location etc.

So I can just test that one circuit and leave all the other circuits alone and just issue a separate EIC for that one circuit.

Thanks, never had to come across this before.

as the rewire was only recently done, i would just add the new circuit to the schedule of test results on the rewire EIC.

A bit over the top, using a spare way for a single socket-outlet.
If you can't spur off of an existing outlet, spur off of the CPD.

Isn't this job notifiable?
