Does anyone know if theres a building reg that states ventalation NEEDS to have only one duct to each appliance??

I know that you can get Y or TEE 100mm splitters for ducting and also inline backdraft shutters so ventalation only travels one way..

Do you know if this is acceptable with a building inspector ?

Ive seen this done myself with backdraft shutter fans but not sure about any regs against it but if working for local council etc they tend to have regional varying rules.

I do know that toilet ducting has to be seperate from other ventilation systems ie. kitchens etc.
