Computer mouse

Just moved my PC from one room to another and the wheel on the mouse doesn't work like it did 5 mins ago. Now it still scrolls up and down, but 5 mins ago when i pressed the wheel it scrolled automatically now it doesn't, I have looked at the mouse software and everything seems right and all boxes clicked. Does anyone have an idea whats wrong?

No, I am getting annoyed as well, I used to press the wheel and move the mouse slightly and it would automatically scroll, now it doesn't and I cannot understand why, bloody thing.

possible error in the driver loading during startup.
not uncommon but annoying anyway.
shut down computer and restart will usually fix it.
(unless mouse was damaged in the move)

Okay will try a shut down and re-start pal, cheers, will let you know in a minute if that worked

No didn't work, just checked the mouse software again and all still okay with the right boxes checked, bloody thing

My one you have to click and hold the wheel down then move mouse up or down to start the page scrolling. Might be worth a try, then at least you know it's a setting somewhere rather than the wheel being knackered.

Yes I have tried that buddy, I am close to chucking the flucking thing out of the flucking window lol

Ridiculous, I carried it from one room to another and it packs up, a bit like the wife when I carry her upstairs, she stops working as well

Have you tried putting it back in the room you moved it from??

Maybe it doesn't like its new room.
