I want to get a set of digital vernier calipers to measure stand diameter and so be able to calculate csa in non standard cable.

Has anyone bought a cheap set from amazon, they are on there from £10? or does anyone have a make or model that that they swear by?

Thanks, Jon.

I have a pair of rolson digital ones.
There not bad for £20 but am always zeroing them lol

a micrometer is a more accurate form of measurement. i do believe they make metric ones as well now.
