Fire rated fittings, right or wrong?

Just thought i'd see what other think about this.

Got hold of some fire rated down lights today, on offer at the wholesaler. I noticed that there isn't any intumesent seal around the hole part that's in contact with the ceiling. The only visible seal is around the top of the can where the vent holes are?

I usually use Click Flamegaurd and these have the seal around the base of the can.

Anyone seen this before?

Looking at the instruction leaflet, they come from this crowd?

there are some on the market that in the event of a fire they expand round the whole fitting im sure there a demo of these on u tube ill have a look

Just had a quick look around on line and they maybe only 30 min rated.

Also had a spare IP rated one in the garage from a previous job which had a sealing material around the base. So i took it off and took a blow lamp to it. That wasn't intumesent, just resistant to fire.

The intumescent seals on the fittings i fit is at the top by the vent holes, its a flame barrier to stop direct flame going from one floor to another, i assume the strip around the rim maybe a sound dampener or moisture block depending on rating and brand.
