Why aren't there any electrical engineering degree programs (or any engineering degree) that run in the evening? In the US there seems to be quite a few but over here there isn't a single one (from looking online), a day-release program is out of the question as work won't allow it.

I can't be the only person already working in the sector who doesn't want to give up their full-time job to develop academically.

So frustrated, hoping Birkbeck one day bring out an engineering degree or the Open University brings out an EE degree program.
 
I know very little on the subject but one thing I have noticed is subjects such Computing seem complicated and are held with high regard and you get a degree in computer science but the subject isn't actually more complicated than Electrical Science in fact it's the reverse.

In the UK you might not get a degree but hopefully your wages reflect your qualification.

So i should consider doing a computing degree?
