does anyone have a basic contol circuit for off peak heating and water. what i am after is a control and timer schematic in order to check a system of a friend. the supplier installed a new meter ( i assume an itelligent one, but have not seen it yet) but he would not elaborate at all on what was now required, apparently he was a complete arse. any recommened controls would also be appreciated.
simple question i know, but i do hardly any work on off peak stuff.

regards

You need to know the meter type-you may not need any timer/contactor arrangements if the meter is new, it should auto-switch at the correct tariff times.
