Stock fencing

Hiya, happy new year to you all.

Has anyone done any agricultural stock fencing before? What i'm wondering is how much 3inch round posts (I think they're 3 inch anyway) cost generaly? I would call into the farmers co-op, but i'm always bloody working when they're open!!

Any idea would be greatly apprichated!

have you got a sawmill nearby? when i did our garden fence they were doing treated 3*3's for £2.50 per metre.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yea got loads of them my way. Got a price of £1.82 per six foot post. Cheaper than I though! good thing considerering i'm going to need about 200 or so!

is that delivered? the £2.50 was for delivered. posts, rails and pailings ordered 8.30 in morning all sitting in the garden when i got home that night.
