I went to survey a job this morning that consisted of 2 separate roofs. one was on the main house the other in the bottom of the garden 20 metres away. The feed to the outbuilding was in 10mm SWA so no issues about loads etc... (only lights and 2 sockets down there!), my question is this:

If you install 2 separate systems in one property connected to one DNO supply what's the set up on the Generation meter? I assume they will need 2 and is this easy enough to sort through the electricity supplier?

Anyone with a little more experience in this your help will be appreciated.

Cheers

If you are connecting into separate existing consumer units then two meters are needed, or run both circuits to a consumer unit (ie individual circuits/Mcb) specifically for the pv and meter both systems with one meter
