Hi

Just wondering what paperwork you all issue when replacing a consumer unit, I've been issuing an EIC and a schedule of test results I normally print them of IET website but I was just looking through their amended forms and was wondering if I should also be completing a schedule of inspections form, it does say for new installations only but is a new CU classed as a new installation for this form, obviously there are some questions on the form you can't answer such as correct routing of cables for all circuits etc.

Cheers

On a normal domestic CU change I usually have one SoI, one SoTR and 2 pages of EIC, that's four sheets in total, this is the minimum number of sheets required, I too use the IET ones.

Remember you are supposed to inspect before you test.

The only paperwork I ever issued was:

1) The Quotation.
2) The Invoice.
3) The Final Demand.

:)

Don't forget that if you are gonna do a "Dave down the pub" properly, the invoice must have lots of extras which weren't on the original quotation :)
