Battery Battery Powered Programmable Room Stats

What cable do you guys run if you're newly installing a Battery Powered (no neutral reqd) Programmable Room Stat 6242 or 6243 (future proofing)?

Done in 3 core as normal to enable programmer to be replaced with another stat that may require a neutral.

Arrghhh, no! I will be putting a (somewhat redundant) wiring centre in tomorrow, just so I can take some heat resistant flex into the boiler .... As my 16mm stat feed was a bit stiff (now you know why I was penny watching) pmsl
