Hello,

Is anyone involved in Solar PV projects in Alderney or any of the other Channel Islands?

Seems like they have been focussing on off shore wind, wave and tidal power only.

Even though the Feed-in Tariff doesn't apply to the Channel Islands, solar PV could make sense considering the high electricity prices..
Has anyone heard or been involved in solar PV projects?

Thank you!!

You may find there are restrictions as there are on Orkney and Shetland due to grid issues. 3.68kW max single phase only, and no G59.

Thank you!
Would you be able to tell me whom to contact regarding this issue?
I am only able to find information on the All Islands Approach to energy with regards to exploiting wind and marine resources around the islands. Nothing on solar PV unfortunately. Thanks a lot in advance!!
