SWA cable size to a wendy house

Hi all,

Just wondering if ifs ok to use 1.5mm SWA armoured cable on a wendy house with a 25m run from the board to the wendy house on a 20 amp breaker, its only gooing to feed 3 double sockets and a couple of outside lights, nothing extravagent is going to be used on the sockets, just wondering as my cousin has a load of 1.5mm SWA. I'm thinking it may be better to use 2.5mm SWA however???

id say no although the distance is only 25 meters minimum size for a 25 mm run would be 2.5 mm 3core on a 20 amp mcb, but ill be honest i tend to over rate my cables and put a 6 mm 3 core with a small 2 way CDU so you can protect sockets and lights from in the wendy house

Depends on the size of the cable you put in.

Your wholesaler will give you the rights ones when you buy the cable.
