Greetings,

Newbie to the website here, after some advice. Had a job land on my toes by a builder friend of mine. S-Plan boiler to wire up.

Turned up and the boiler is outside the house with a 230v supply

The water heater, aswell as the two port valves controlling Hot Water and Central Heating are far away inside the house, also with a 230v supply.

However, there isn't a cable between the boiler+water heater, oh dear.

Can I use some type of kinectic/quinetic switch to allow a signal to be sent from time controller to the boiler outside? If so, anyone has any experience using them/recommend a brand etc?

Thanks in advance

Joe

There’s many remote programmer / thermostats that work wirelessly,

Most popular would be Hive….

I use LightwaveRF myself, just because it matches my smart sockets and switches, and can all be controlled by one app
