Anodized aluminum frames and sea mist

We're looking to install a module with Anodized aluminum frames. Panel has not under taken any salt mist test like Schott, Sanyo etc. But we are wondering if they will be ok. I thought anodizing was for this sort of attack from the elements?

The question is more about anodised aluminum in general than specifically about these panels.

as an ex- sea boat owner, i can say that anodised aluminium has quite a good resistance to salt mist/spray. a lot of boat fittings are manufactured from it, and they get drenched with seawater. how good the alloy on your panels is though may be a different kettle of fish.

Check the warranties, in the small print some warranties are void if installed xxxm from the sea.. That would be my guide.
