Folks,

Doing some work in a cottage next week and the client has a young autistic child who's favourite game is to constantly switch the lights on and off all day. They want me to change the wall switches for something which he can't intefere with.

Any ideas what switch plates might be suitable? I'd need 1G and 2G versions. Not something I've fitted before.

Ta! :)

Only thing i can think of is key switches, bit of a pain but other than moving them up higher it is the only way:)

Yeah, thought about MK key switches.....never fitted them. Do they toggle on/off? If so, it might be just what they want. I guess they'll need some switches to work properly as there are other kids in the house and they'll need to operate the switches at night, etc.

If you are looking at remote control, have a look at x10 gear, I haven't used it, but it seems very flexible.
B+Q also have a good range, cheap too.
