anyone know what the likely breaking capacity and fuse type is for the 250A bs88's the elecy board fit on a commercial supply intake ?
cant check myself on the job i'm at without removing the cut-out chamber cover that has danger of death stickers all over it lol
even i'm not reckless enough to cut the ( very new ) seals on that bad boy :-)

Are you just curious about the breaking capacity or is there a specific reason you need to know?

Would the breaking capacity for a BS88 used on a single phase circuit not be 16.5k?

80k would be stated on the fuse but that's when used on a three phase installation.

Most BS88 fuses of that sort of size will generally be 80KA.
