Hi all, FIRST POST, yay. The problem I have is a 17000tl that will not work because the device shows 'ISO' is falling below 1000. Samil have a UK tech guy. He started last week, I had him on site today, a good guy, willing to help and learn but neither he nor I no what 'ISO' is or what it's measured in. So here I am, on the forums asking those who know. Please help, me ead is gonna splode

have you done an insulation resistance test to earth on the DC circuits?

I'm not 100% sure despite reading the manual's fault checking section (useful it is not), but I think it's likely showing that the insulation resistance is too low, though why it would set 1000 as its limit I don't know, as this seems pretty high to me. If you can't find a fault and it is this, did you install in the rain? if so, I'd leave the connectors to dry out thoroughly, then reconnect and try again, as wet connectors can dramatically reduce the IR figures, as well as generally being a bad idea long term.

also, I assume you've checked the polarity? I think we had someone else on here recently with these inverters who'd reversed the DC polarity as they're done a bit differently to others.
