Storage heaters not working after meter change

If you have changed tariff to single rate, the off peak will be disconnected hence no storage heaters, anyway if that is your form of heating why change, if it was connected to 24hrs supply it would cost you an small fortune.

Piccys of the meter tails and DB may help narrow the potential faults.

I would get your supplier changed pronto. Your water heating was also probably supplied on overnight off peak too, so you will now be using day rate to heat that.

If it was a 3 rate meter originally, then it is likely that it was controlled by a teleswitch, rather than a timer.

Hi.

I have economy 7 white meter storage heaters which were running on a three rate meter. The meter had a day rate, a night rate and a separate storage heater rate. Everything worked fine. After the meter was changed to a standard single rate meter my storage heaters now no longer heat up over night. Does anyone have any suggestions about what the fault is?
