any suggestions for ideally a plug in device that connects wirelessly to a battery operated bell in house should the sockets in outhouse (freezer full of stuff go off).? Outhouse is on own rcbo so customer unaware of power loss untill its too late :/
 
It will be interesting to see what people come up with. I've seen many projects such as http://www.isocket.eu/buy/but it is so expensive!

It's a pretty popular DIY project in the electronics world using arduinos but not seen anything for sale.

I'll watch this thread with interest
 
Can you not fit an aux contact to the rcbo and just take the signal from that?
 
Hi - here's one we wouldn't be able to ignore. I haven't used it, but it looks interesting. Plugs in at remote end and has a battery to power siren for 4 hrs (gulp).
