Hey all,

And thank you for providing such an informative resource here, I think I'm going to find this extremely useful.

I only recently left the Army after 10 years and decided to pursue a new career as a personal trainer, unfortunately i didn't like it as much as i thought i would so I stopped doing it after about 8 months. After much uming and arring I've decided to make a go of it as an electrician. I already have the qualification and would like to start working anywhere near Gravesend (South East) as soon as possible.

The transition from military to civilian life has been quite a shock to me, so I'm here to learn as much as I possibly can from you good people about what it takes to be a great civilian electrician and how I can prosper in this industry.

Thanks mate, I'm looking for employment with a firm as I feel I am too inexperienced to go at it alone.

Welcome mate good luck
