I think your work would be perfectly fine. A note on the cert might be in order. Also see what Wylex have to say about that. Would be a costly swap to change all those out.

None of the car manufactures have tried to stop people fitting 3rd party brake pads to their cars - MCB's and RCBO's are no different....
The way I read it is, you can mix providing the manufacturers agree and that you install to the highest professional standards, yes I agree Vorty a ridiculous ruling, one I believe the IET will regret,and hopefully rescind.I cannot imagine in any way the integrity of the CU would be compromised in any way by a different brand I think it is nonsense. However I do compy with regs and don't mix as I do not wish to increase my liability through non-compliance.
