Agree not much info for out there on the in's and out's of notifications etc. Seems it's a case of learn as you go.

One might assume that the PV installers courses required by MSC cover that kind of stuff. One would be wrong! Polar bears yes, actual installation, No...

Exactly my thoughts. As I sat there at the NICEIC headquarters, gazing a slide of a silhouette man holding the sun, I did start to wonder when the actual meat of the course would start.

Our instructor was good and I learnt some interesting non-PV stuff from him but as far as the actual course goes - I could have and indeed have learnt more from reading books.
