I expect it's been said before but other trades really seem to have no idea about electrics.I have been trying to finish a rewire for my assesment.First the builder came and broke some switches,the heating engineer stuck a radiator right on top of a 13A socket with the drain tap right above it and ran hot water pipes in the attic pressing against my nice new cables,the carpenter came and took off a 13A ring main socket and today doing final tests...funny no continuity on the bathroom bonding.....the plumber had ripped off the bonding clamps,left fhem lying there and never said anything.

Wait till the alarm guy uses all your cable runs to run his alarm wires through and cocks up the cable catagory I and II segregation up.

I worked on a new build site and every so often in the evening kids/vandals would come into the plots on the site and would cut the leg ends off flush to each back box for sockets and lighting.

god that is annoying

we did some work for builders and before they plastered i did quick drawings and measurments to know where things were just incase they did that

if wires go missing because of plasterers, big holes start appearing in finished walls
