Does anybody use a software package for jobs and customers etc to keep track of invoices and next testing date and similar sort of thing?

A company i used to work for had a system where each job was stored in as a number and could be called up on a type of database and had previous jobs for that client as well?
thanks

Sage will do that for you each customer gets their own customer number from you and you can add notes about the customer so while working if they say timmy the cat has to have an op you can make a note of that on the customer database they can ring back three years later look up their records and ask how timmy got on at the vets. Goes down a bomb with the customers:)
I think they do a trail program if you want to see if its for you
