Probably would not bother myself other than my OH likes it so much...

For me the main benefit is that we can pick coastal sites which means I can fit in quite a bit of sea fishing over a weekend while OH just chills out..

I have to confess, I used one of those motorhomes things last year; went to see the British GP. Fell out of the overhead cabin, first night going for a pee. Bruised me ribs big style, hurt when I smiled.

Won't be using one of them again for a while

I blamed the ladder, and lack of lighting. I should of conducted a risk assessment before retiring.
