How many years should be recommended on a industrial factory.
And is there a bs number for this

Let me see a long time since I did any testing in an industrial situation, as for a BS no what BS is the BGB? don't know try looking at it and go from there

Someone has just put me on the spot and asked. I have no regs book or test and inspect book on me. So was hoping for some advice to make sure I tell them the correct time scale. As we don't do much industrial. So helpful comments only please

If you need a reference then quote 622.1 and you can then refer to guidence note 3 table 3.2, that will satisfy them.

The max recommended interval for industrial given in GN3 is 3 years, however this is highly dependent on the nature and type of installation, and where other statutory/licensing regs may take precedence, or due to insurance requirements.

the interval may also be shortened or lengthened depending on what the inspector finds, also where regular maintenance schedules and records are kept then it may not be required at all.

Some factories do (a different) 20% per year, so over 5 years everything is covered.

There is no BS as such.
