I have installed my sockets at 500mm and now the builder has lifted the floor 100mm making my sockets 400mm from the floor not the 450 mr part p says.

Can i get away with this ?

Also regs say a tv point no higher than 1200mm. Their is a tv point installed at 1700mm for a plasma so will i get away with this ?

You should have checked finished floor levels to start with but as others have said leave them they will be fine as will the t.v. point

yeh i did look at the drawings but the builder got the level wrong when he cut into the old house from the extenstion durhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So you think it will be ok then ?

Part M of the building regs only applies to new builds or total refurbishments. So as long as the positions are no worse than anywhere else in the house then it's fine.
