Hi. I know this probably isn't the most fitting platform to post this question, but I was racking my brain where I could get an answer to my issue, and this forum is what I came up with.
I have a small bathroom Lasko space heater (1500w). I bought it around 3 years ago and my wife and I use it only during winter when using the bathroom/shower. This winter I noticed some strange light-colored substance seemingly coming out of the front of the space heater. The substance is hard to the touch. It seems like maybe something melted, oozed out of the heater, and then hardened? I'm not sure.
The below photo is a close-up of the grill through which the heat comes out.
Does anyone know what this could be, and whether it's something I should be concerned about?
