Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can find the Current carrying capacity of SWA ran refrence method A or B?
The BGB doesnt seem to help,, or I cant find it :)

Come on guys,, im sure someones got an idea! :)
Worded another way... Someone must have come up with an SWA running in a loft or covered in ichy wool duing a test. what refrance Method would you put? ..
 
Hi Edd,
Wouldn't you just take the reference method C (clipped direct) from Table 4E4A (for XLPE) and then apply the rating factor of 0.5 as stated in 523.9 or other value from Table 52.2 for lengths in insulation of 400mm or less? Or maybe I'm missing something.
(By the way, the dog with the orange wig always makes me smile.)
