960v at socket outlet....

Hi,

Ok so I was just measuring how much voltage was there at a socket in my loft, and it said 960v...

So this is a little odd, I check it again and then get another meter to check, sure enough, it says 960v.

At first I am thinking its coming close to the 1000v limit on my VDE tools, then I rang WPD to see if they can help.

Anyway, this was my dream from last night, what was yours?

Which reminds me, one of the biggest oil discoveries in history resulted from a dream. In 1937 Colonel Dickson dreamed about a very specific location in Kuwait. The Kuwait Oil Company was persuaded to move a rig to that location and they hit a gusher. Which now makes me think that uksparks might be able to find oil in his roof space if he bores down far enough.:biggrin:
