If you have 2 SMA inverters on netID 2 and they show as Master and Slave and you wanted them set up as Independent Inverters on their own net ID how would you go about doing this.

Looking through SMA documents they suggest that if you power up 2 inverters on the same netid they automatically setup in network mode as Master and Slave based on signal strength.

Apparently Isolating them and setting them to different netID numbers and then booting up again, Sunny Explorer connects but just says "reading daily data" but never does.

Put them back on the same netID and it works again.

Is there something else that needs to be done?

Power the inverters down, isolate all side, change them to Net ID > 2 but different ones (not 1 or 0) powerup inverters.

Open Sunny explorer, and create new plants (don;t use the existing ones)

Not sure why you'd want to do that though as unless they are significantly seperate plants.

Thanks. Thats what I thought from reading SMA Docs.

Apparently, After doing that if you log in as a new plant, it just sits there saying "reading daily data". Is this correct, will it start working from next feed in.

Sometimes it takes a while... It depends how much daily data there is.

Is there a sunny webbox in the configuration, or just sunny explorer?

Of course now you'll have to log in /out to see what's going on with each of the inverters.. As opposed to having had it all in one place - what's the specific reason for wanting to seperate them?
