Hi guys,
Need advice. Have a 2 DB's both fed from meter(2 feeds coming out of it) each one goes through a 60 amp fused isolator. The 2nd DB has only 3 lighting circuits and a ring main. total wattage would be approx 3kw. Need to install 9kw electric boiler but cannot get to either of the fuse boards so have put in a small db near the boiler just to house a 40 amp breaker and 5 amp for the timer clock. My question is, would it be ok to just disconnect the 2nd DB from the 60amp fused isolator, run 16mm tails out of the isolator in to henley blocks and connect both the 2nd DB and my small DB in to this. as the total maximum wattage would be 12kw therefore 60amp should be fine.

Any advice or better ideas as to getting a supply to my board?

Thanks

i would post a pic but cant at the moment. yeah thats the gist of it guitarist. was thinking of connecting both into the isolator but terminals are not big enough for both cables hence why im thinking henley blocks. i know its prob not good practise to put 2 db's off one fuse but cant see any other way of doing it to be honest

No different to having 2 CU's fed from your main supply fuse via a henley block really.
