So, moving a cooker switch that's over a hob 300mm to right.

Want the Load cable below surface to drop down to below work surface within zone BUT then end up back behind fitted cooker not the cabinet below. As subject, what do you guys do?

Would you do as I do for eg an intergrated Dish Washer that is under a sink, I run down below surface from the labeled isolator switch and then surface mount cable below the work surface for the horizontal 1m run to behind the machine?

TIA

Kind Regards
David

Can't see any reason why that method wouldn't comply. Also makes things below the worktop adaptable for any future changes...

We all now what women are like don't we!! ...haha!!!

I take it the cabinets are in place and you can't run all the way down to below floor, then along and vertically up to the cooker outlet? If not then your suggestion is next best option.

I don't quite understand the title of the thread?
If the cables are not being run diagonally, but are run horizontally and vertically, then they are in safe zones?

your horizintal run can be buried as its horizontal from the connection point, i.e. in a safe zone.

Ok, so I think you are suggesting that the vertical is covered by the zone of the isolation switch and the horizontal is covered now covered by the zone of the cooker connection?

What you're doing sounds fine but always try and think to the future and possible dangers that might arise and if you're not sure then cover the cable in metallic earthed capping as it costs buttons, takes minutes to install and gives extra protection. See the thread on capping.
