Appendix 15 – page 362 of BRB says “An unfused spur may be connected to the origin of the circuit in the distribution board”. Like wise can we spur off from a lighting circuit at the DB (MCB 6A) to power a door chime circuit, i.e., two live 1.5 mm cables coming off a 6A MCB? Does this comply or not? Many thanks!
 
Thats fine.

I would label the additional conductor as DB (doorbell) just to avoid any confusion in the future.
 
you have answered your own question and even quoted the reg and I would agree Yes you can (depending on the loading of the circuit in question)
