I have a new client who is unable to take down the attached smoke alarm to advise who the manufacture is ? They are an hours journey away and it would be nice to goto site with an additional smoke alarm as requested for a new room without visiting first. Any suggestions. ThanxDSC03231.jpg
 
That's just a cheapo battery powered unit, from the likes of B&Q etc, old too.

Why not recommend mains smoke alarms to them or at least updating that one to a new one to match the additional one they want.
 
U sure?It says will not operate if power is interrupted AND battery is removed.Sounds to me like its mains.Why does it matter if its the same?
