Another MK (Sentry?) board. Any chance they were built like this....surely not?

I don't think so, in both cases the add on is the exact same type of cable as the supply cable, I do come across a fair few of these, all linked in the same cable as the supply.

Anyone here around when these were stocked who can shed any light? I C2ed mine on the EICR.

Breaching EAW would be the least of my worries! Switch off, carry out your safe isolation at the bottom of the main switch - all good; touch the lhs busbar, bang (and possibly dead).
