solar panals

Hi All
Im a new member
Just had solar panals fitted to roof and within 48 hours both electric shower and wahing machine gone faulty with sparks firing about in washer drum .
I this a coincidence or could solar panals have caused this as both blew within mins of each other .
Any advice would be much appreciated ...

Maybe some pictures or the solar inverter and where it's been connected at the CU etc.

It's not possible to say if the solar installation has caused the demise of your appliances but have you called the solar installers to maybe suggest they come and check their connections or even approached another professional electrician just to perform some basic safety tests?

Wow, thats an interesting one!

You must post the outcome of this if you get to the bottom of it as for the life of me I fail to see how connecting PV could do that to those circuits. Unless when they finished they rode off on their horses firing their pistols in the air .......
