Hi there,
I have 2 two way lights that i want to make into a 3 way arrangement.
1 of the 2 way switches is for the downstairs hall light and connects to a 2 way 2 gang switch at the other end of the hallway.
The other 2 way switch is upstairs and lights up the stair case and upstairs hallway...
Hi I have looked and tested a 2 way lighting in a domestic front room. When one switch is on the other can show 230 volts on all strappers and then in reverse when switched??
One switch is correct or the other depending on how it is switched any idea please Thanks Ian. :19: Should be simple!!!
as above, has anyone have any experience of this using touch dim switching ?
how does it work 2 wayed using retractable switches.
i was under the impression i could have a touch dim dimmer one end and a normal 2 way switch the other end, however, the lights are doing funny things, ie dimming...
I'm an apprentice and have been asked to install 2 sensors with 2 lights! Was just wondering how to 2 way these sensors as there is just a live in neutral in and live out neutral out? Sensors must bring on both lights. Thanks
Is there is any reason why 2 way switching wouldn't work for a PIR floodlight taking into account the PIR setting and the manual override mode??Obviously it would be wired correctly!
Just yes or no. No abuse please!

Hi all,
Putting in a a hallway lighting circuit on a new dwelling controlled from 4 points, client wants a dimmer but is happy to incorporate just a 2 way dimmer to save getting involved in master and slave units.

Just went next door round to my neighbour to help him him out with electrical issue. He changed a fuse to a 2 way lighting circuit and now the light only works in one position. I can only assume he has put the wrong fuse in?

Evening all,

Have just rewired a house, but am getting a fault on the 2 way lighting. The switching tested OK and operates from both switches but I get 12V on the switch wire when one switch is in the off position & 24V if it off via the other switch (240V in the on position from both switches). The IR...

Hi there, would I be correct in saying that you can get 2 way dimmer ( dimmer at each end working against each other) but it needs to be a specific type, I think it's master and remote. Is there any additional wiring required and where would be the best place to get them
Thanks
John
