Another fair pointFair point. Although if you replace a complete board you are involving yourself with all the connected circuits, rather than just the one MCB for the circuit you are adding (as a typical example).
Quite a lot of these old industrial / commercial boards are a nightmare with dozens of alterations over the years , very few sparks will want to change the complete board and the utter ball ache that goes with it if the don't have to.
A 50 quid second hand MCB off Ebay is very often the best and most practical way to go
