    Hi Guys, Are there any regs relating to installing downlight light fittings in a new build house? Do the light fittings have to be fire rated throughout the installation? Do any electrical accessories installed within partition stud walls have to be modified to comply with any fire regs? thanks

    Hi can anyone tell me what cable should be used to connect a mains voltage fire rated downlight to the junction box? Noticed that mine are connected with the flat rigid single strand circuit cable. Is this ok or should it be some thinner type flex. Cheers.
